私の演奏への感想と､「４本のキャンドル」に関する想いを聞かせて下さいました。
I like your performance. You've played it slower than I did: I come out under 3 minutes and you have 3:30.
About the candles: to me, part of the religious experience is that you become part of a mystic whole that is much greater than the sum of the individuals. So while there is an individual experience, in the community your individuality is subject to the whole.
I tried to express this by making music that as much as possible does not have a solo part. This is an important reason that I don't use high recorders, because they always stick out: the lower recorders are better at giving a unified ensemble sound.
So this movement has a top part, but it should not sound like a solo.
I don't have any ideas yet for the last movement. I'm thinking that I want to increase the range and score it for Soprano, Tenor, Great bass, but there is no way to get those instrument to behave as a unified sound.

Victor-san’s English is rather difficult for me especially about religious experiences, so I cannot understand your sentences correctly. However, I understood that this suite has four movement, and each of them has your clear will and it’s important for you that they don’t have a solo part.
When I saw your sheet music of the third candle, I didn’t feel this movement has solo part. Because Tenor, Bass and Greatbass parts make an unified ensemble. My performance was so? Only one part, when I met a high G in your sheet, I felt “Dies Irae” so I played more expressive.
I played rather slow, but I should play more fast by considering these are the suite consist of four movement. To the same way as your edit second candle, I might also perform the third candle again.
I’m looking forward to the birth of the forth candle.

I think your performance was good. There is no need to play it faster. Play it the way you feel it.

こちらもトリオですが､編成が T & B & GB ということで､音が落ち着いた分､瞑想できました。
こんなことを書いてはいけませんけれど､お抱えの作曲家をもった昔の貴族の気分です。
もっとも､お抱え楽士は自分ですけれど。(^_^;)
楽譜は､IMSLPにも掲載されました。イケホウトさん自身の演奏も聴けます。
イケホウトさんの作品が随分と増えてきました。きっとこれからも積極的に作品が増えるものと思われますので､専用のページとして独立させましたので､宜しくお願い致します。
